Summary:

City girl Paige Eastman arrives at her recently deceased father’s Ocala, Florida, horse ranch to settle his estate, but she finds more than material assets with his business partner, resident cowboy Jake Skinner. The two engage in a hot fling until Paige learns she must sell the struggling enterprise out from under Jake.

All Jake wants is a chance to turn the business around since Paige’s father nearly ran it into the ground. But his attention quickly shifts to wrangling the hot prima donna who is now his partner. Can they overcome their differences without dousing the fire burning between them?

Review:

Paige never really knew her father. So when she finds out that she has inherited a horse ranch in Florida. all she wants to do get down there and sell the ranch to get it over with.

That is until she meets her partner Jake, and realizes that she might want to have a little fun while she gets everything in order. But in no way possible can it be anything more.

Jake is really upset over how his trusting the wrong people has gotten him into this situation, but he can only blame himself. When Paige shows up at the ranch, he knows that his chance of getting her to agree to give him a chance to change the ranch around and get it out of trouble, is over, but he can't deny the amazing connection they have.

Perhaps, there’s might be a chance after all.

Wynter Daniels has created a wonderful story that has so much excellent sexual tension from the get go, it hooks you within the first few pages and keeps you wanting more until the very end. Paige and Jake are out to pursue totally different goals in the beginning, but can amazing scorching hot sex and chemistry make them at least stop to explore a chance for something more that they might not have been looking for in the beginning?
