Review:

One Good Man is a delightful story. The characters are fun, loving, and make up a good family. This is a tale of love, loss, and love found late, all mixed with a little mystery.

The main characters will have you laughing and crying. There are a couple of different love stories going on at the same time. Allison is being pursued by Stephen. Stephen’s father is pursuing Allison’s mother. While Jason and Shelly are just plain in love. The pursuits add some spice and surprises to the story.

I thought Rie McGaha did a nice job with the character Allison. Allison showed real insecurities about her looks and weight. Through the story, the author and Allison show how harbouring insecurities can harm not only yourself, but your relationships too.

There are a couple plot twists that will have you glued to the pages to find out what happens next. I was sorry that the story ended because I really wanted more of Stephen and Allison’s story to be told. It felt like they got rushed there at the end.
