Blurb/Summary:

Disowned by her wealthy Charleston family when she married a gambler, Lainie Conrad lived a charmed life of European travel, good times, and gambling until Rutherford Tolliver decided to claim Lainie for his own. Now, widowed and certain that Tolliver killed her husband, Lainie plots revenge, but she doesn't want Ford's life. She plans to ruin him in a high-stakes poker game. The problem is, she's fallen for U.S. Marshal Nick Foster, who is duty bound to arrest her for a murder she didn't commit. Derringers, poker, and her feminine wiles become weapons in her quest for retribution.

Review:

A tale of revenge, action and adventure. Add a feisty heroine and a hero that won't stop until she is his...you get Kaye Spencer's Gambling with Love.

Lainie is one hell of a woman. In a setting of an old western feel, she defies the law of what a woman is portrayed to be back then. Always looking for a way to get exactly what she wants, Lainie escapes from the things that hold her down- at any cost. The resistance and strong sexual tension between Lainie and Nick created a wild ride throughout the story.

I enjoyed this wild adventure, and I must admit I'm not one for historicals. But I couldn't get enough of this book! The wit, dialogue and constant action had me turning the pages, eager for what happens next.

If you enjoy western romances filled with sexual tension, adventure, and secrets to be unveiled, then pick up this book. Hold on tight!
